Is my PS3 broken? Help please.?
I don't know what happened. My brother borrowed my Ps3 yesterday. When he returned it this morning it won't read my disks anymore. I don't have money to pay for repair in any Sony Customer Office. What the other option I can do so that my PS3 will be fixed?
LG Nitro HD or Sony arc s?
I'm planning on buying either one of these phones unlocked. I was able to play with the LG but not the sony :( I checked out the specs and compared the two. I'm not really sure what I want in a smartphone for this will be my first "real" smartphone purchase. Any suggestions? And personal opinions on which phone is better is welcomed :)
My screen resolution changed all of a sudden and won't change back.?
I just left my computer for a couple of minutes running Sony Media Go and downloading songs to my phone. When I returned I found the monitor off and I thought that was strange but what was even stranger is that the screen came back up looking like crap, a garbage 640 res and 4 bit. I begin to freak and try to change it back but it hasn't helped. What happened and how do I fix it? Is it the monitor, the drivers or the video card (hope not, this is my back up computer, my main one was destroyed by my brother).

Can I play Battlefield 3 on my laptop PC?
I have been playing Crysis 2 on my Intel HD graphics card but I was wondering that with BF3 work also? For Crysis 2 I get around 15 FPS and at most to 30 FPS but I assume that BF3 will run on lowest settings right? I have the original Intel HD graphics card on my Sony laptop that I got a year agao. I do have the lastest drivers and updates from microsoft. I also updated my DirectX. I have the full game of Crysis 2 btw. But I was thinking to buy the BF3 next.
My system specs.
Sony VPCEB3QFX/WI
Intel® Core™ i3 - 370M (2.40GHz)
8 GB DDR3/1066MHz
320 GB 5400rpm, Serial ATA
Realtek® High Definition Audio
Intel® HD graphics, 1.7GB VRAM
TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633C
Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
I use to use the 2559 version for my Intel HD video card but I went back to 2509 since I heard there were problems with the 2559 driver and that's why Intel took it off. But will BF3 play on my laptop? I have alot of ram that's forsure since I have 8 GB. I don't mind playing on lowest res and settings but just wanted to play the game somehow since according to the specs my video card does have the features it needs like Shader Model 4.0 and has more than enough VRAM also. It said the game recommends having Shader Model 5.0 but 4.0 will work.
Sony DSC-HX9V Shadow with flash?
I have a sony DSC-HX9V. When I take close up pictures with flash, a dark shadow appears on the lower right corner. Is this normal? It never occurred with my older sony camera.
Can I open sony vegas pro 9 project files in sony vegas pro 11?
I bought sony vegas pro 9 when it was out but now i want to buy sony vegas pro 11 but i have many projects that i need to complete in sony vegas pro 9 so i was wondering could I open and edit them in sony Vegas pro 11? or should i just finish them in 9 first?
Are all active 3d tv glasses universal?
I have a 50 inch panasonic 3d tv (model # TC-P50ST30) and find that sony and several competitors have more reasonably priced glasses, but I don't know if they are compatible with my tv. Any advice, along with a rundown of the different types of active glasses would be much appreciated.
Should I get a PSP or an Xbox 360?
Okay so my parents are getting me a gaming console for my birthday. I don't want them to spend a lot of money on this and we agreed that a "bundle" will avoid them having to buy the console and the games separately.
I was looking in Amazon and I've narrowed it down to either an Xbox 360 holiday bundle:
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-250GB-Holiday-Value-Bundle/dp/B005VBVQBU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I10AUGJB6EZATI&colid=GOJ3EHDHNUFA
Or a PSP God of War: Ghosts of Sparta package:
http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Portable-Limited-Entertainment-Sony-PSP/dp/B003O6CBPE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=IATUHRN3KM9Q6&colid=GOJ3EHDHNUFA
Both are roughly $300 and come with two games, among other things. What do you think? Which one should I get? I know they're really different but I just can't choose!
Thanks :)
What I like about the Xbox is that it's generally a solid console and it comes with a lot of cool shit. The PSP, on the other hand is portable, which is a plus, and I absolutely love the color, so there's that...
I don't really plan on ever getting a Kinect, just fyi. I don't really like motion gaming. :/
Wow! Lot's of answers! Uh... Just another last little detail, my cousin already has a PS3 and he lives next door so I can use it whenever I want, so I really don't want another one. That's another thing I like about the PSP, the Remote Play function.
Looking to buy a pair of headphones for Boyfriend's bday?
I want to get my bf a nice gift, ive heard mixed reviews about Dr. dre's headphones (saying either they're the best out there or that they suck and are overpriced) If anyone out there has a professional opinion on these or can make a suggestion on another brand pleaaasee i need your opinion (I've been seeing that sony has really good headphones as well) im looking to pay $150-$170 tops and over-ear headphones, also he listens to music that does not really require bass but instead quality sound, a lot of it is instruments and lyrics thanks!
Can you recommend a decent set of Over-Ears headphones?
Basically I am after a pair of comfortable Over-Ear (Not on ear) headphones for use at home for Gaming, Music and my Electric Guitar
I listen to a variety of music ranging from Acoustic, Punk, Ska, Screamo, Trance, Drum n' Bass with the occasional old school hip-hop thrown in.
I like to occasionally turn my music up loud and have learned to appreciate bass, therefore I am not one for always wanting my music to be 'Bass Heavy'. I prefer a balanced sound.
My current headphones of choice are a set of Sennheiser In-Ears (CX Series)
I have looked at the Sony MDR-V700DJ and Technics RP-DH1200.
I would prefer to stay clear of Skullcandy Headphones as I had the Skull-Crushers in the past and they build quality was terrible.
Any good recommendations?
