I feel that since ww2 our nations head has exploded, our national ego says America is the best country ever to stand,
But from the beginning Americans have always tried to be different, not using the metric system, baseball instead of cricket, horse tracks running the other way, etc.
Our founding fathers for themost part wanted us to stay out of world affairs,
That turned to us policing western hemisphere, and eventually, the world.
And with the mass inventions built here during the 20th century, and the positioning of America as a super power in such a short history,
Has lead to Americans refusing to acknowledge outside advice outside their own ideas.
Many of our social/economic problems have happened in other nations in the past, but when a problem happens here we refuse to look around us.
Our healthcare, education, obesity, energy problems (being addressed vigorously), drug problems, and gay marriage has occurred in other nations with solutions that worked without destroying society.
But we act as if we're leading the world on all subjects

Vintage Pioneer SA-950 Amplifier Problem?
I have a Pioneer SA-950 vintage non-switching amplifier connected to a Pioneer PL-518 Turntable. When I put the stylus on the record I can hear the sound of the music coming out of the speakers. After about thirty seconds, I hear one clicking noise coming from the amplifier (or receiver, whatever you wanna call it), and then the sound just cuts off from the speakers. Is it overheating? I give it a 12 hour rest in between uses and I only use it about 15 minutes a day. How can I fix this problem? Thank you!
How to wire a kicker sub to two amps?
I have a kicker l7 2ohm dual 2000 watt sub and I want to get two kicker ZX1500.1 R class D amp 1500 watts. I want to hook up these two amps up to this on sub and was woundering how to do it without ruining anything. And pictures or explanation in how to do it would be great. I also have pioneer 4400 HU. I'm putting together my first system for my susuki esteem 1997
Looking at this setup so far:
Infinity Reference X-Series 6 1/2" 2-Way Car Speakers (REF-6502IX) in front and rear
pioneer DEH-P8400BH
Either the JL Audio 12W3v3-4
What would be better, run the whole system off 1 amp or get separate amps for the sub and speakers.
i want best clarity possible over the loudness of the bass thank you for your answer

I'm buying a double din pioneer 7" in dash DVD for 2010 silverado and they say I need a $180.00 wiring horness?
One place I called said they can hook it up with a cheaper horness but I won't have onstar but I don't care because I don't want it anyway and I don't have steering wheel control. But the other place said I have to use the expensive one or it won't work and will mess up the stereo. So what should I do?

You are correct, I should have learned this stuff years ago, but I never took 401k's too serious...... I've seen friends lose their complete 401K's due to greed of companies that no longer exist... I am 40 and feel I can still save plenty by the time I hit 65.
I guess I don't want someone to plan my retirement, just wasn't sure which ones were more risky than the others. But from what I have researched, someone my age needs to invest in riskier stocks in order to get the most return. The question is, is it worth the risk or is it better to put the money in a savings or IRA account??? Guess I need to figure that out on my own.
