Where can i get the attachments in my email?
I had purchased gps voice files for my garmin and the seller sent me an email saying the files were attached. i am using yahoo mail ( i think its the regular version) and i cannot find any attachments. do you know where i can access them?
What kind of GARMIN gps works really well?
I have done some research and it was showing that these 2 are the most popular. Garmin nüvi 1450LMT or a Garmin nüvi 2595LMT. I want one that shows how long it would take to get there. I don't really want a good one but I cannot spend over $200 for one. =( Please help. thanks in advance. =)
I meant which one has the most accurate directions. Also, the one that doesn't give you the long way to get to the location.

Problem with my Garmin Nuvi 1450 GPS... Neep help ASAP.?
I have a Garmin Nuvi 1450. When i plug it into the computer, it turns on and only displays the GARMIN logo. It doesn't connect to computer, neither it goes farther on the applications and program. I updated the device a while ago, but now it stopped working.
I tried resetting the device by holding the power button for 30 seconds or more, but it has no affect. Please help.
Android phone GPS Help? Maps gone?
I have an android phone,Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A50. And I accidentally deleted the maps I had on my phone. With using a file manager that I downloaded, I saw all the files and I deleted the map data. It was 3gb big, so I have a big amount of space avaliable. How can I get the maps back? Help
Its not Google Maps. Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A50 is an GPS phone.
Is anyone else having issues with their TomTom GPS right now?
I have the TomTom VIA 1435TM which I bought several months ago. It's always worked fine for me... but I went on vacation in Houston, and it got me from the airport to the hotel... and after that, it couldn't find a signal anymore. I drove around for 20 min trying to find a signal! Luckily, there was a Best Buy right by my hotel, so I went in, and the person working in the GPS section told me that there was something wrong with TomTom and all the units were having that problem right now, so he suggested that I buy a Garmin for now. So, I had to fork out another $200 for a new GPS!
That was 2 days ago. I'm home in Denver now, and I tried using my TomTom GPS again, but it still doesn't work! I tried using it for the whole 30 min that I drove to work, and it still couldn't find a signal!
Open source GPS software?
I have a Garmin Nuvi 1100. It currently has the 2010 map so obviously it doesn't work anymore. Rather than pay $100 every year for a map update I wanted to know if there was any Open Source software I can run on the device instead of the Garmin software. The Linux of GPS so to speak.
I'm not looking for illegal torrents of map updates, I'm looking for opensource software to run on the device. A completely legal process. Just thought I'd throw that out there before anyone gets crazy and tells me I'm going to go to jail.
Any info would be great.
How to delete a map off of Garmin 2360LMT?
I have 2 maps on garmin. A CN north America NT 2012.40 custom selected AND the complete North America NT 2012.40 ALL. HOW DO I DELETE THE CUSTOM SELECTED?!?!
Garmin Nuvi 1340 - do you pay for map updates?
I just wanted to know if this was a good sat nav AND if the map updates for the UK only cost money?

Okay, so my husband and I were driving from Vermont to Michigan (where I used to live when I was a child) to visit my parents for the first time since they moved back out there for July Fourth. We were around the Bloomfield Hills area when our Garmin went all wonky and died on us for no reason. We were driving for a few minutes trying to figure out where to go next so we pulled into a strip mall to chill for awhile, use a bathroom and call my parents to figure out how to get to their place. The first thing I noticed was there was an F&M in the strip mall, and it was open. I was like "Hey! I thought they all went out of business!" To my husband. My husband joked about all the cars in this parking lot being so 90's. We tried to call my parents, but both our cell phones mysteriously had no service at all. There was a breakfast place with a name that had to do with Omlette's, and we decided to go in there and eat because it was like noon and we hadn't eaten since earlier in the car.
We had to wait for a table for like ten minutes because it was busy, and I poked my husband and pointed out this lady who had this obnoxious purple and teal tracksuit type thing on. We kept commenting on how weird people were dressed here like what the heck happened to MI? Everything just looked strange, not old, but outdated? There was this little boy and his mom also waiting, and he kept asking her if they were going to see Lion King with daddy. I thought maybe they were showing that re-released version?
We got sat, ate and thought our meal was pretty cheap, then we went outside to go back to the car and my husband had stopped to look at those little newspaper things you can put in money and grab (which you also really don't see anymore) and he goes "look at this." All the papers in the thing were dated Saturday, July 2nt, 1994. We got a local paper, and were checking it out, totally freaked. Of course I was like OMG! I want to ask someone what the date is! And was all pumped to go in stores and check stuff out, but my husband was a little freaked out and said we should get back in the car.
Not knowing what else to do, we pulled out of the parking lot and started driving. We maybe went like two miles or so, when I get like 6 texts from people because I suddenly had service again. I called my mom and she told us how to get to the house, but she had no idea what we were talking about with the strip mall with the Omlette place, F&M and Einstien Bagels and some sports shop. My husband then noticed that the time was 12:24, and it had been 12:15 when we got out of the car in that strip mall. There is no way we could have eaten that fast, plus I went to the bathroom before and we had to wait.
I told my parents about it when we got there, and showed them the paper (which we still have!) but they didn't really believe us. We tried to find the strip mall again, but it is just gone! It's not even like there is nothing or something else where it should be. We can't even find that same street we had been on.
So what happened? We both experienced it, and we have that paper for proof, though no one seems to believe it. Were we transported back into 1994 for a half-hour or so, or what? Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else?
Issue with Garmin- please help- important drive tomorrow AM!!!?
I have had my Garmin for about year and a half.
All of a sudden, when I'm driving, the screen goes black, then there appears a green line that draws across the screen, then it shows an icon that i should plug it into the computer.
Normally this would mean that it would need to be charged, but it has full battery!
Could it be broken? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also- does the Garmin nuvi recquire a map to put in the side of it?
Please do not refer me to the Garmin website as your answer because i do not understand anything on there. thanks
